About the Author: Do Mi Stauber

Do Mi Stauber won the 2007 H.W. Wilson Award for Excellence in Indexing for her index to The Self Possessed: Diety and Spirit Possession in South Asian Literature and Civilization by Frederick M. Smith, published by Columbia University Press. For a look at the winning index, click here.

Do Mi has indexed scholarly books, textbooks and reference books in the social sciences and humanities since 1986. She is a past chair of the judging committee for the H.W. Wilson Award for Excellence in Indexing, and is the author of “Jewels in the Cavern: The Special Challenges of Scholarly Indexing.”
